The New Guy with many questions
 

Hello all, I just purchased a 96 Audi A4 2.8, and i don't know too much about the car. I have owned many Hondas and a couple Nissans and that has been what I have based my knowledge off of.

I have heard that this model is the hardest one to actually get any cheap power out of. I have already grown to see that there isn't very many parts for this and the parts that are out are pricy.

Make a long story short I would like to know any advice you guys have for me on my build up and I would like to know the pro's and con's of this car. You can be as honest as you want, my local forums are filled with a lot of punks so I will take it very lightly.

Well first off welcome to the forum. Second, this should have been posted in the A4 forum.

Cons: no power and not upgradable easily.

Pro: Very reliable engine. Almost one of the best Audi engines actually reliability wise.

Virtually no bolt on power for the 96 2.8L.
