Greetings! New owner of an Audi A4 Avant 2.8 Quattro S-Line here. Long time Porsche guy and just added this car to my line up.

Had the car for 2 weeks now and it is darn near show room fresh, though 121K on the clock, but runs great with no issues to speak of. Very surprised at how well it rides and handles and pretty impressed with all of the options. Bought the car as an around town run-about, but will most likely take a few out of town trips in it as the wagon aspect holds quite a bit.

The only real issues I had were the dash cup holder that I just replaced and the central display that is being replaced as I type this. Oh yeah...I need the Navigation **** on the console

Please direct me to the area of the forum I would need to frequent for my particular car. I was told it was a rare breed being an S-Line in this model.

the most traffic is in the A4 (b5) section of the forums. many of your questions can probably be answered by reading some of the threads that are already there. Pretty much any section of the forums (other than the new member welcome area) has some pretty lively discussion.

let me just get this part out of the way too, while we're at it...at 121K miles beware the timing belt

 

Ahhh...thank you for the response. Yes, very well aware of timing belts. I have done many on my Porsche's. The one on this car was done at around 90K. I have all records since new and that is one of the first things I had checked.

Thank you for your advice! Of course I would expect there are several threads that will answer many of my questions. I just thought given my particular model, that there would be a specific area I should frequent.
