Newbie to forum and Audi, any advice?

Ive always been interested in the Audi A4's. Just like the way they look I guess. I recently totaled my 01 gmc truck so I had to get a new car. That brings me here. I cant seem to leave any vehicle I have had stock, and would like some opinions on what to get for this one. I have never owned an Audi before but have had a few girlfriends with VW's, one with a Jetta and one with a turbo Beatle. I was always supprised at the power when I drove em'. Just doesnt seem like a jetta would be that quick to me. I, however, am not getting the 1.8T, but instead a 99 2.8 quattro. I dont need a fast car, just something fun to drive that gets good gas mileage. I dont have a big budget as of now but would still like some "beginner" aftermarket part ideas. I know there arent many options available for the 2.8, power-wise besides a $6500.00 supercharger, which I cant afford, but any other mods I am interested in. Thanks for your help and time!

Hey welcome to the forum. There really arent any engine mods for the 2.8 except the s.c. The 1.8t has so many more tuning possibilities than the 2.8. Specific questions though should be directed to the A4 forum.
