Newbie w/ 1136 & 1138
Hey All!
I'm fresh into the Audi world, and the Audi Fourms. To be completly honest, I had no clue on how to change my fuel filter, all I could do was oil. Luckly, with Audi Fourms help I'm pleased to say I accomplished this. I plan to undergo many changes to the car such as replacment of the ABS control module, and probably some vacum lines to rid all of my codes. (p1136, p1138). I have a 1999 Audi A4 2.8 6cyl.

RE: Newbie w/ 1136 & 1138
Any idea other than faulty MAF or vacum leaks of which could lead to the generation of codes p1136, and p1138?
P1136 = long term fuel trim, idling, bank 1- system too lean
P1138 = long term fuel trim, idling, bank 2- system too lean

P1138 = long term fuel trim, idling, bank 2- system too lean

sorry, I'm not super mechanically inclined, but if you post your codes up in the Audi A4 subforum B5 model I know there are a ton of people who will be able to tell you exactly how to fix your problem
