Potential A6 owner

New guy here looking to buy an A6 for my new DD. Current DD is a '93 Amigo that I have owned for 10 years. Its been a great truck; but at 15 years old and over 200k miles, its time to make it an off-road only toy. That, and now that I am out of grad school and have a professional carrier, rolling up in a lifted truck with knobby tires and boulder dents on every panel doesn't convey the correct image. I am a vehicle enthusiast; so whateverI buy won't stay stock for long. Don't own an Audi yet; so I'll post a few pics of my current baby instead:

haha, that little thing looks like fun.

A6's are nice, if you got the cash look for a 2.7t or an S6 or even an RS6, and welcome

Yeah, its a lot of fun. Very off-road capable and its been an all around great truck. I just want to retire it from DD'ing while it still has enough life left to be a fun, reliable toy and hopefully get a lot better fuel economy out of its replacement! They are actually larger vehicles than people assume they are; about 50% larger than a Wrangler. Stout-built rigs as well, which makes them heavy pigs. According to the local truck stop's scales, my Amigo weighs 4020# with a full tank of gas but otherwise completely empty[sm=smiley30.gif]
