tire wear on TT
I have owned an 2001 TT roadster/chipped for 7 years only drive it in the summer/fall it chews tires faster than I can eat beef jerky, I am getting 15k at best before they hydro on me. I live in Vermont and drive mountain passes regularly not necessarily that hard. I realize the terrain has something to do with it. I have used a set a season
Anyone out there that lives and drives in similar conditions that has has better success, my guess many have had comparable.
Thanks,
Gary

Something that is typically metal is now rubber, the added play it gives tends to cup and feather tires on alot of Audi models. I have heard everything from changing that part (I forgot where I read it or what the part was), to putting 40 lbs pressure in the tires to slow down the cupping.
My A3 eats tires for breakfast too.
