This is my first post. I appreciate everybody's posts about their cars. Its a big help. Here's my problem. 2002 A6 Quattro 2.7. One of the ignition coils does not work. I know the coil is good. I'm sure its the wire coming in to it. I've put a good coil on it to test it and I get nothing. I don't know where the wires go to. I can follow them to the back of the motor, then I cant see anymore. Anybody have any ideas? In the mean time I'll just leave it parked. I'm gunna try and get under it to get a better look. Thanks to anyone who might have a clue.

You really should post your question in the A6 section. Is the problem with your coil a misfire or you get nothing in that particular cylinder? If it is a misfire I would suspect an ICM. If the coil is completely dead...I never tried to follow the wiring before so I really don't know the routing.

Thank you. I'm trying to figure this forum thing out. I'll look for the A6 section. I'm just not getting power to the coil. The ICM just might be the problem.
