Best path for my B5?
 

I have a 2000 1.8TQ sedan. Previous owner upgraded to APR chip and exhaust. OE turbo beginning to fail. I don't want to spend a grip, nor do I need tons of power. Really, just a reliable replacement is all I need. Any advice would be appreciated.

Stock K03 or a K04 would be best if you're not after much. You can run a K04 on a stock tune even, but you can also reflash for a K04 tune and increase your power. I am not sure what other mods you'll need to get the most out of it though.

fpr/injectors depends on tune

a good smic or fmic would be a plus....

just don't buy a chinese made ebay turbo

I think I've found what I'm looking for on ECS tuning. Any opinion on the KKK vs. the RP K04? The RP is about $150 less with the installation kit.
