Question here, New to the audi world and was wondering about the 1.8T.

I havent gotten my b5 yet but i am soon. the 1.8T. Manual of course.

I was wondering if you can put a FMI on the 1.8T. Can it be stock to do so and what would i exactly have to do. I wanna change out the crappy Bypass Valve for an ACTUAL BOV. Has anyone done so? Pictures? Links?

I could be mistaken, but adding a FMIC to the stock K03 wouldn't do anything. I was actually told by guys from APR not to add the FMIC until I was ready to go bigger due to the fact that the stock turbo can't really utilize the benefits. I'm not an expert by any means, just the research that I've done in anticipation for my own uses.
