Know of anyone supercharging an A6 (2005 and up)
 

Just curious, anyone heard of successful attempts to supercharge an A6 ('05+) without having their engine burn out?

A buddy of mine just supercharged his '99 Maxima (503hp); another one of my buddies is getting his 2009 550 bmw supercharged (450hp expected)....and the mechanic is telling me that he can add 150hp-200hp to my A6. Cost for the installation aside, is this worth it?

Having only 255hp sucks! I'd planned on trading up for a 4.2 but now Audi isn't making them anymore on their newer models.

On a 3.2 you're not going to gain 150-200hp and the only company making supercharges for this brand is PES, whose ECU tune (according to some of my recent reading) is spotty. You'd have to go custom with a custom tune as well as fabrication. Plan on a 5-figure price tag.
