KO3 and KO4 difference
 

I am new to Audi and the turbo world. I am running a 2002 Audi TT 180hp Quattro. I have been looking at aftermarket down pipes and have a few questions.
1. The KO3 appears to have 4 bolts to the down pipe and exists the turbo pointing towards the ground is this correct?
2. The KO4 appears to have 3 bolts to the down pipe and exists the turbo pointing towards the side or even up is this correct?
3. If I get a 225hp same body style that was wrapped around a tree, will the parts interchange, ie turbo, intake/exhaust manifolds, intercooler, injectors etc. to get my 180 more to a 225.
4. APR sells a turbo upgrade for my 180 is that a KO3 with ko4 innards or a KO4.
