Default PCV Valve

I'm wondering if you only can get the PCV valve from the dealer. I called all the usual places and haven't been able to pick one up. I even tried looking online and I couldn't find the exact part I was looking for. Is there an after market place I can find one?

There isn't one (at least on the V6) - the early 12v engines have a filtration setup built into the bottom of the valve covers (which you can disassemble and soak in Seafoam to clean), and the later ones just vent through a hose to the throttle body area. No PCV valve to buy, which is why you haven't found them. If you have a 1.8T there may be one - I don't know. It helps to create a signature in your User CP area with the relevant info on your car (year, model, drivetrain, engine, etc) since these cars have so many differences.
