Hi everyone please help with any ideas this is my first ever post, I have a 2001 Audi A6 twin turbo with 180k miles, My mechanic told me that the driver side turbo is bad because it was blowing dark smoke through throw the exhaused pipes. I live in Baltimore Maryland. So my question is should I rebuild the turbo or buy another one? I'm I supposed to fix both turbos or just the bad driver side one? Is there any repair shops that would be recommended for my area?

 

You need to replace both turbos. Go aftermarket. Make more power. Yum.
