Skoda 1.9TDI loses power
 

Hi,

I am new to this forum. I got used skoda superb 1.9TDI PD100 53 reg. I have found that it loses power up the hill or on the motorway over 60mph up the hill. The engine managment light comes on. If I switch off and on engine. It gets reset.
The garage says, the turbo is gone. But there is no smoke coming out. No noise and after reading the threads in this forum, I think its can be something else.
I have recently done full service and also got allard EGR delete kit fitted. As one garage thought egr might be the problem.

You need to get the codes from the ecu. This will tell you what's wrong.

I think this is a double post from yesterday.

Checked the codes. they were related to EGR and when checked one of the egr connected pipe, it was torn. Replaced it and its flying.
