Whats the best kit?
What is the better turbo kit? APR stage3+, the ATP GTRS Eliminator(can be upgraded to a GT2871r), or the ATP GT2X Eliminator?
What i am looking for is close to 350 hp. While still keeping it a daily drive. Currently i have a k04 with unitronic chip, hyper boost DV, custom intake, and a 3 in test pipe to a 2.5 in exhaust Sorry but im a noob when it comes to turbo's |
bump.... no help here?
|
If you want to have it for daily driving, I'd get the one with the smallest diameter turbo for quicker spool up.

Keep in mind it's about six k for stage III, plus, you may die.

jk ;)

just eliminator you will save $$$ and you will still be reliable and fast! Only the stock manifold seems to hold up all the other cast manifolds seem to crack...

Is the apr kit reliable?
|
apr is reliable but its very expensive and the tuning is weak. The elims are so so also. If you want more power than APR and far cheaper, get an ATP hardware kit with either a gt28rs or gt2871r and upgrade your Uni tune to the 630cc file. Both with a 28rs, the uni +atp should net you alteast another 15whp

If you buy the k04 turbos, piping, downpipes, Intercoolers (a must), fueling, MAF upgrade, N75 valve, good software and then labor your looking at 10,000.... said and done. you go cheaper you can ruin more parts. but for a daily driver, you will hit 350 awhp with a basic K04 kit and 440cc fueling.
