NAAC hosting Teen/New Driver Car Control Clinic @ NHMS on 10 Aug 9AM-3PM
 

The North Atlantic Audi Club with sponsorship from Audi Stratham and Shell
will be offering a hands-on car control clinic in Loudon, NH, on Saturday, August 10, 2013. This clinic is a limited enrollment, family friendly driving event designed to provide participants with increased confidence through behind-the-wheel driving exercises incorporating real-world accident avoidance and defensive-driving techniques.

Participants will enjoy over 6 hours of classroom and behind-the-wheel driving instruction focused on understanding vehicle dynamics, anti- lock braking and traction control systems through a series of exercises performed in a safe and controlled environment. Designed for newly-licensed and experienced drivers alike, participants will drive their own vehicle under the supervision of an experienced instructor and will learn how to react to impending danger with confidence, precision and control.

The event requires that you have a valid license or permit. If you are under 18 you will need a parent in attendance at all times. The event costs $75 for drivers 21 years or younger, and their parents if they choose to participate. All other adults are welcome at $100 / person. The registration fee includes lunch. The event will be held at a parking lot at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and will run from 9am until 3pm.

Students must use their own car, although you may share a car with a friend or parent if you wish. SUVs and pickups are not permitted – the high center of gravity of these vehicles makes them unsuitable for this type of driving event.

Clinics start at 9:00 AM and finish at 3:00 PM. Lunch and refreshments are included for all participants and helpers.
