Default 1995 S6 avant

just bought this car friday. i bought it not running. supposedly it needs a brain. the brain is out and it looks like the guy i bought it from opened it. he worked as a tech also, but is now selling them. he had it in his garage. i had the car towed home to my sisters shop. she has a garage also. can you work on the brain, and maybe chip it? the car wasn't getting any fuel. it turns over but no fuel. he had his computer on it and diagnosed it as needing a brain.
