1 barrel of oil = 42 US gallons => yields roughly 19.5 gallons gasoline + 25 gallons of other by-product.

I know 19.5 + 25 is greater than 42, but you get extra by-product due to "processing gain". So, $3.50 gas (premium) is here to stay .

 

WOOO HOOO for our country being idiots and buying our oil from over seas!!!! NNNOOOOOTTT!!!!! Man thats so ridiculous!!!!! We have enough oil fields right here in the US or just of our coast. But NOOOOO we have to ship our oil over seas and then pay $100+ a barrel for oil to be shipped over seas to us! Thats so much bull!!!!
