ok.. so heres the scoop.

video clips saved as divx files saved to PC.

transferring those movies / clips onto DVD.

DVD blank media holds about 8 gigs
but for some reason were only able to put about 1/2 that amount (4 gigs)
onto the DVD....

[sm=headbang.gif]

thoughts?

should I be using MPEG vs divx ???
should i be compressing the file somehow b-4 burning to dvd??

Blank DVD's only hold 4.7 gigs unless you've got dual layer DVD's, which hold ~twice that.

Ugggh, why bother? all you're doing is crapping down the video quality.

If you really do want to do it and have some leverage.... download DVDSHRINK i believe its free.

N3ro Recode does some stuff also.
