For the techies. I got one of those flash drives that go on your keychain. And it only cost a buck. I figured I would let anyone know who might want one for cheap.

I used a one time use card and make sure you cancel the subscription thing after you receive it.





Basically its a promotion to try out this companies software, I never downloaded the stuff and canceled it right when I got the drive today, looks good on my ninja keychain :P

 

so you just sign up and they automatically send you the flash drive? or do you have to request it through an email or something....

 

Yeah you sign up and then you get an email to request it.

It went like this for me.

I signed up on 4/25, they charged my card and enrolled me in the program.

Then on 4/28 I got this email:

Then I got the little flash drive today in the mail, called the number and cancled my membership. It was pretty easy.

 

how long did it take to get it in the mail? i just signed up...

 

however long 4/25 - 5/6 is lol.

 

i had one for a while. my dad got it for free from work and gave it to me. but then one day over summer vaction he took it back. it was nice while i had it.

i use a FTP now

 

I like ftp too, but if you don't have internet access it's useless. A thumb drive is handy when you need to get info from somewhere easily.
