3 BENT RIMS ON CERTIFIED CAR HELP!
Hi,
I recently bought not even a month ago a 05 A4 Avant. To make a long story short, The first time I took it our on the highway last weekend it started vibrating. Then the left front tire leaked. I took it to my mechanic to change the tire and he said the tire was fine and the rim was bent, so i called the dealer fuming and took the car there. They called me later the day and told me that i in fact had three bent rims..not possible!! So we are in a fight over it. I told them when they fix the rims I'll give them back the loaner.
They claim the 300 point inspection would have spotted this and they wouldnt let the car out like that....bs.
Anybody ever hear of this or have any advice of what I can do??
Thanks

Well, the only thing you can do is call Audi of America, and open a case with them. Also, check lemon laws in your state. The only thing that will go against you is that you took almost a month to notice the problem with the rims, and during that long period - the deciding parties may say that you damaged it.

^ I agree with Nocturnal. Since it's been almost a month since you bought your car, it'll be hard for you to prove that you bought it with the bent rims. They will most likely argue that you f*cked up the rims after you bought the car, and are trying to place the blame on the dealer. Sorry to say, but it sounds like the burden of proof is on you.
