996 Porsche owners...
I think this is my next car. I was able to test drive a couple and found I got very attached to sitting in one. Driving it is very solid and I like the visibility on it.
The thing I am worried about is I dont know what to look for problem wise. Every porsche owner says their cars have no problems what so ever.
The year is around 1999 to 2001 and I am primarily looking at the C2. Any info would be amazing. Cheers!

Granted this was on an older one (97-98 C4), but an ex-GF's father had one. Amazing car, fast, comfortable, solid, and fun. Until anything at all broke, and then it was at least a grand to fix. If you think Audi repair rates are expensive, wait til the Porsche guy gets ahold of you. If you do your own work, it's still expensive but it's probably manageable. I'm assuming that if you're realistically thinking of owning one, then you can swing the parts as well.
The nail in the coffin for him to ditch the car (for the first brand-new Audi TT in the area) was a $14 oil seal failing and costing $3500 to fix (they had to drop the drivetrain to get to it).
