Just saw these pictures of an A1, don't know if anyone's posted them before. Reminds me of a BMW Z3 or something.

oh yeah i remember hearing about the audi 1 series, im pretty sure its supposed to be audis answer to BMWs mini coopers.

 

It does remind me of the Z4, especially the doors.
It is Audi's answer to Mini and BMW 1 serie. It is supposed to be cheaper than BMW 1 too, the S1 will have a 1.8 T which I found interesting. Will it make it to the US? Probably because of the mini success here. Anybody knows? We will probably not see it until 2009 anyway, no?

Ditto. I like it. I can imagine decking it out would look sick as well.

 

The thing is, if it's going to be like a Z4 won't it cost more than an A3? It'll be the firstmodel with a lower number that's more expensive.

It is smaller than the A3 and should cost less than the A3, to battle against BMW's mini on a cost/quality basis. According to Audi, they should be cheaper.
