**** thats intense spider. What state are you in? I know they are in Texas, and im down there alot (live in Mass. tho). My buddy has a tarantula as a pet, interesting to say the least.

I hate spiders too. That one would freak me out.

 

I saw a pic of a guys thumb that got bit. It's not a pretty sight. That pic is maybe a week after getting bitten. It'll get worse than that.

 

I live in MT and I have found these IN MY HOUSE! they can be like 1.5 inches long. THey make me cry.

That's a camel spider. They can kill scorpions. They can get around 8" long.

 

Its a solpugid, a type of scorpion. The ones i have seen have had bigger claw pincher things in the front. One time a buddy and I cought one and put in in a glass. Then we put a dragonfly in with it. It ran over to the df very quicly latching on to it sucking all of its blood out untill it was just a little shriveled-up mass of insectuos tissue (made that word up).

 

We have brown recluses here and they are terrible. My dad got bit by a black widow while he was sleeping when I was in high school. His leg almost had to be amputated! I hate spiders. We have some nasty ones in Kansas City. God I hate them!
