Default Another new (used) vehicle

The mrs. is gonna kill me before long. Today at work, one of the guys is about to get out of the army and wants to sell his vehicle. He doesnt really care about making money, his parents are pretty well off and they have a Benz waiting on him. He is selling his 99 Lexus rx300 for $3000. It is a little beat up, and has 135,000 miles, but the price is still well below what he should be asking. I told him he could make quite a bit more than that, he said he didnt care. So, that car will be joining my personal "fleet". It will be #4. Probably not gonna keep it long, just do some minor fixing and cleaning, then sell it........ maybe

Dang - you just found a good one. Just checked Auto Trader. '99 RX300's with over 100K going for anywhere from $9 - 12K

Yeah, I know. I told the guy I would clean it up for him so he could get more money. He said he didnt care, so, luck finally comes my way for a change.

Damn, that's cheap price to buy it for and not a bad chunk of change after a resell.

you have to be wary of deals like this because parts for the Lexus are very expensive but if is a good car and cheaply sorted what a deal you got

I know the parts are spendy, but I am not gonna keep it (unless I can talk the mrs. into it).

I have known the guy for awhile that owns it, and it is a pretty good vehicle other than the dents.
