I’m new with this group and hoping someone can help me with my 2002 A4, 1.8 T.
There is a tapping noise at the end/back of my engine and noise is more distinct from the EGR. I have replaced the EGR valve and did not fix it. The noise does not come up until the engine has been running for a while. And when the tapping noise appears, it’s associated with erratic idling, like when I remove my foot from the break pedal, the car/engine would like to jump but also would like to stall.
