Default Audi Club of North America?

Is anyone a member? They have a chapter in Kansas City that I have been thinking about joining. It's 44 bucks a year and you get access to numerous local shops for modifications and discounts on parts and labor. I thought I would see if anyone has joined or is a member with info? Here is the link - http://www.kcaudi.org/

I'm a member, it came with the cars. I haven't actually participated in anything yet though, but if I have chance I would most certainly like to attend some of their track days/driving schools etc.

It seems like there are some pretty good benefits. They have discounts at a lot of local shops which is cool. One of the shops offers 10 percent off scheduled maintenence to members. I think I am going to join. They had a get together yesterday at a shop in town and they let the members put their cars on the lifts to do mods and they offered free inspections. The track days would be cool too.

I belong and went to the Laguna Seca meet in January, I think there was someone at the event from Kansas.

You havent really been driving until you attend a track day. I learned so much and had alot of fun. I plan on attending the Reno trip coming soon; hopefully Ill have my S4 Avant by then. The nice thing is they dont discrimnate with cars, you can drive ANYTHING as long as it passes inspection. We had a wide assortment of cars, not just Audi. Porsche, Lotus, Saab, BMW, Mazda... So when you get your Caymen, you can still attend the events.

I have to warn you, the Track is Crack. Go once and you will go forever.

Yep...I joined specifically to do some track days. Did two days at Limerock Ct last May.....totally addicting. Had an instructor in the car, which was really helpful. Going to schedule a couple of track days this year too.
