Default Audi Driving school

So, my lovely bride of 20 years and I sign our 17 year old son up for the local Audi Driving School clinic to be held Sunday, Sept 28th. My wife and I are more excited about this than our son - he's got more confidence than experience, so we thought this would be just the thing to merge beliefs with experiences...

The clinic is an entire day of instruction and behind-the-wheel that should help him be a better driver.

Have any of you/your children taken this course, and what are your comments?

Thanks!

This is a good idea. Recently, I have experienced a lot of teenage drivers driving confidently but ERATICLY! It has been driving me crazy! I have come to the decision that nobody under 18 should be driving. I could go on and on about this, but I believe that you have made a very good choice for your son. Driving is just like anything else, it takes practice to become good. Anyway, keep up the good work.

I would love to go to one of these. Do you have any more info or a website?

BUMP ^ It doesn't matter if they're 18. Kids will drive like that no matter how old they are. I drive irratic and I'm 30

people under 18 shouldnt be driving? to be honest, i think we should be more worried about elderly... not to be mean, but they arent the best on the spot decision makers

I firmly believe they should have another test when you reach a certain age to make sure you can still safely handle a vehicled. However, studies have shown that newly licensed kids cause the most accidents due to inexperience.

Yeah, while passing old farts on the shoulder for driving too slow, with their turn signal on, with no turn in sight. ; )

I would have loved to be sent to a driving school when i was a teen. I learned skid control and all that fun stuff the hard way, smashing up cars. $$$$$$$$$
