yeah, when you have cars going 100 mph+ down the highway... there's little room for error

well unless the laws have been changed or it was on the outskirts of town (autobahn speeds drop within city limits) the autobahn actually has minimum speed limits of 85kmph (about 52 mph) if I recall...

 

and thats why we have so much slower speed because people here are on the mobiles, texting, eating, and ive even seen someone getting head on I55 outside chicago. definetly not the kind of people i want to be coming up on or have them coming up on me at 100+

 

That story just goes to show how impressive European cars are in terms of safety. 60+ cars wreck, 1 killed.

 

Any accident in the Autobahn is rare to start with. A 60+ is even more. But I guess the road conditions weren't superb so maybe it was a little slip caused by a car that had a tragic chain reaction.

 

Yeah it truly is insane only one person died.
