B5 S4 or Private Pilots License?
So I recently came into a lil bit of money and I just can't decide which way to go with it. I have wanted a B5 S4 for about four years now and I have also wanted my private pilots license for about four years as well. I can't decide, so I turn to you, the forums, for help... What do you guys (and gals) think? Anything would help at this point. Thanks.

Thats a tough choice. I have a 01 stage 2 S4, aswell as in flight school right now aswell. Depending on where you go for it, you can get your private with about 5k if you go part 141. When you start going into to Instrument, multi engine, and commeriacl is where it gets expensive, trust me. I would prolly get the s4 first, this work on the private as you get the cash. Also, if you get the pilots license, get some a high performace rating to, thats where the fun begins.

hey im in flight school as well. Get your private first and then get the s4.
Youll have your certificate forever while the car is a physical thing that will just need to be replaced in a few years.
So i say do the pvt first while funding is available and then get the car.

actually if you cant decide, the best thing to do is to just go and take an introductory flight and see if flying is for you.
it only cost 50$ at most flight schools.

Like most people here, espacially the aviation people. its great to have a pilots license espacially if youve always wanted to fly, but with buying/renting a plan, fuel, hours required to pass training, insturment rating and filing a flight plan everytime you go up, its better to get an S4, espacially with the turbos spooling up youll always feel like your taking off in a twinjet. BUT IF YOU ARE TRAINING TO BE A PILOT GET THE LICENSE, IT EDUCATION AT THAT POINT.
