Seems that in 2006 - Ford had the highest selling vehicle - the F-Series truck - but is no longer one of the top three sellers in America.
1. GM - 22.4%
2. Toyota - 16.1%
3. DaimlerChrysler - 15.9%
4. Ford - 15.2%
Think they will eventually merge with Toyota or VW?

Actually, Ford has been slipping ever since the Explorer/Firestone debacle... GM's hating life too since Toyota built plants inside the US.
One of the reasons Chrysler was an easy merger for Mercedes Benz.
Would be interesting times to see a VolksFord F150 roll down the road [:-]

yea ford has been going down the drians for quite some times
i dont even know how they were able to launch the new mustang in a time that gas prices were 3$ + a gallon
there has been numerous merger rumors..
god, hopefully they dont merger with vw
