I am looking into buying a used 2013 A4 2.0T quattro w/ Tiptronic. The car has 75,000 miles and already had two owners. The reason why I am posting is because I wanted to get advice as to what I should look out for when inspecting the car and whether or not I should find someone on craigslist to do a pre purchase inspection for me. My main concern is that this car is 3-4 years old with already 75,000 miles on it. The dealer is asking $17,000 but I plan to negotiate it down depending on what is needed to be done on it. What are some common issues this car might have in general and some issues it might face at 75k miles? What services and costs should I expect within the first 10k miles that I own it? I know nothing about this car as far as servicing and costs, so this is why I'm posting here. What are some yearly running costs for this car? If there aren't too many risks buying this car at the status that it is at, then I plan on investing some money on mods and tunes. If it'll cost me more for repairs, then I'd rather avoid this entirely.
