Default Buying vrs Leasing

So if I wanted to get an A4 and hold onto it for ~5 years am I better off going with a lease or buying? What are the biggest ups and downs to each?

the only reason to lease is so that you don't have to own the car for a long time and you won't get nailed with depretiation when you resell. if your planning to keep it for 5 years then buy it. Can you get a lease for 5 years? plus with a lease you can only drive x amount of miles a year, if you go over you get fined.
