+1, minus .gif's not working for me Firefox is amazing.
Go to Tools> Add Ons> Extensions> Get Extensions and download Faster Fox. Works great by recycling your bandwidth.

It feels so good to turn another soul onto firefox. :P Haha, I can see why people buy hats and tee's from Mozilla... Seriously, IE is sooo terrible.
EDIT: tabbed browsing is enough of a reason to use firefox... I have it set up so a middle click on a link opens up a new background tab. It works great for things like the forums, because I can just scroll down, middle clicking on threads that interest me, then when I'm done, I just start at the rightmost tab, and work my way across. Works great for ebay, too...
