However I do have foxliving on my property which kind of has me worried. I know they are not like coyotes but last night me and 1 of them (theres at least 2) locked eyes for a few about 60-70ft away. Luckily the pup was sleeping in a lawn chair and Jazmine was standing in an area where she couldn't see it.
Anyone know how to get rid of Fox without shooting them? (neighbors would throw a sh** fit and Im only 2 blocks from the police station)
lol I imagine its more like beef, but only time will tell.
Inbetween my last post and now I had another encounter with the fox(s). This really has to stop! I was hanging out drinking a beer. The pup was chewing on a tree branch & Jazmine was about 5ft to my right just chill'n. All of the sudden Jaz takes off and I stop her (sooo nice she listens), I look down the isle and theres 2 fox running away from us. The 1 doubled back (actually triple backed) to see if we were still coming! I have a lighted collar on her for at night and its the plastic clip kind and it broke when I was holding her because she just wanted to go. That had my heart jump but she does listen well and came back after 30ft. I think tomorrow im getting a pellet gun from Walmart.
I know Jaz can **** somethin up if she wanted to but these are 2 wild dogs and I love her to much to just see what happens.

growing up in the south and living there the majority of my life, I can tell you to rest easy on the fox hurting the dog. They will run every time and do not work pets like coyotes will. If it were a coyote, I would say be careful as they wil lure a dog out and ambush it, again, your dog would readily handle a couple of coyotes. We've had some recently eat a few small FiFi type dogs ([&:]) around here. Shouldn't laugh but I care not for dogs that a cat could kick the crap out of. Anyway, Foxes are really only an issue if they are rabid, and if they are together, prbably not. Rabid fox will show little concern for anything, dogs or people and will have no problem approaching you. Probably has kits somewhere and is coming in for easy food (squirrels, rabbits, moles, mice and rats. (possibly cats, but unlikely). Get a picture and post. Is it a red fox or grey?

looks like that 1 has cropped ears though.
