Coming home from work today, my daily drive is about 70 miles, I cam along an s5 for about 20 miles and that thing is fast. Now my 2.8 is not a fast car, but I have taken my friends 04 rx8 4 of 4 times from 0 to 120, (he can't drive and I have amature raced over 100 1/4 mile races at the track in a low 12 sec car). I want that car. My goal for two years from now depending on my new promotion next week is to pay cash for a C5 Z06, 135i, or S5..... I love the S5, but I am a rear wheel drive person... so we will see. I just can stop thinking about that S5, and the driver was only like 27ish, I am 23 and will hopefully be there soon.....

What car do you want in the next few years?

 

my opinion i would def get the vette. low price supercar.
im 18 now. hopefully in the next couple years, maybe 2 or 3, i will have an s4. but i really really want a e46 m3.

 

Yeah the M3's are nice. Id hate to have one up here in Maine though. Thats why i got the audi, its all wheel drive and will go perfectly all year round.

 

I currently have my second 2.8 and love it. I'm 23 too and just finishing up my first degree. I will be keeping this car and then buying an 05 or 07 Porsche Boxster S as my next car in early 2010, when I return from my internship abroad.

....Bmw's are great machines, but they're just too plain and common- they're like luxurious civics. lol. imho, anyways...to each his/her own, though!

 

They are common, but i wouldnt call them plain. I think they have nice styling and body lines. Their low and wide. If you do the rights mods to them they can be insane too. Well more insane than they already are...

 

The only Bimmer I would ever buy is the E39 M5. They're classy, fast and just str8 seckz. I just picked up a MT 2002 540 last night and its good so far but I'll take an Audi anyday. S5 FTW

s5s are nice... in the next few years i still wanna have my tt with a 3076 in it

 

I'd go for the S5; Brilliant Black with just a few basic mods like suspension, exhaust, and of course tint, it'd be my perfect DD.
