Let me surmise.

This dizzy broad, after 9/11, converts to Islam and travels to report on American atrocities abroad. Gets her *** nabbed by the Taliban and they are threatening to behead her if someone doesn't fork over $2 million in ransom.

At the end of the article she talks about how this will be on someone's shoulders if no one acts... yeah, unfortunately her parents for raising such an idiot.

 

I feel some sympathy for her but...eh, one less.

Funny, because I can't find not one ounce in me for her. At the risk of sounding cold and heartless - she knew what she got herself into - it's up to her to get herself out.

But I'd bet my yearly salary that if the Army Rangers or Marines dropped in and shot up the place she wouldn't have sympathy for her captives as well...
