Debadging my A6
I want to debadge my A6. I want to take off the A6 and 2.7T Quattro badges. I'm leaving the rings on the trunk lid. I wanted to make sure before doing anything, are there little posts that go into the metal. I wouldnt want to have to take it to a shop to get those welded over and respraying my trunk. Anyone know for sure? They seem like just regular badges, but I wana be 100% sure before goin into it.

On my a4, all badges (a4, 1.8t) were glued... so i just used a hair dryer and a goo gone, took really about 10 minutes.. search on forums. Udachi

votblindub, it really took me (and my friends) 10 minutes of work. All you do is :
1. Heat that place up with a hair dryer
2. Apply some Goo Gone and continue heating up for about 10-15 seconds more
3. Then try taking them off with a fishing string
4. You will have some glue stuff left on their places. Get some Goo Gone on that place and then wash it.
P.S. I think all those badges made plastic, not a metal.
