decent free firewall for vista
just wondering if u guys had suggestions for a decent free firewall for Vista -
i used to use sygate for XP - but its not an option anymore they were purchased by symantec = $
i tried downloading zonealarm - CRASHHHHH [:@]
and after reading on different forums - the zonealarm isnt quite vista ready yet unless u do all types of tweaks etc.
right now im just running the vista firewall (and the wireless router)
not sure i really need a 2 way firewall? since the router is there.
any thoughts..?

One of the best free-ware out there in my opinion would be the Avira AntiVir.
I'm not sure if this will work for Vista as I have this for my XP. My Vista came with Norton and that's what I am using.

Check ZoneLabs ZoneAlarm. I'm running the paid-for version, but I believe their free version is Vista compatible. I could be wrong, though. I haven't Vista'd, yet, so it's not an issue, for me... YET!
