I tend to use my PC as a digital picture frame, so my desktop is just whatever picture I happen to be using as my background at the time. I turn off my desktop icons and auto-hide the taskbar. Rather striking if you ask me (which you didn't). This is exactly what my screen looks like when I get up in the morning (or afternoon, depending...).

Here's what I have right now.

And this one was my background for about four months, probably a record length for me.

(putfile resizes to 800x600 now, for some dumb reason)

I'm a dork. I can name about a third of the islands in the Aegean Sea just by looking at a satellite map.

Sure, but do you know where the nude beaches without the scary German tourists are?

On your map, right above 0,0 (if it were a math grid), you'll see a large island that looks sort of like a hockey mask viewed from straight left. That island is called Lesbos (or Lesvos in more recent times). A woman named Sappho was born there, and composed some of the world's first homo-erotic poetry, since Sappho was into girls. It is from that island that we get the term, lesbian.

Books are R0X0Rz.
