Just got done putting 4 struts on the maxima! Took me ALL DAY because there was a demon bolt on one fo the mounts.. But damn does it handle so much better now.. that shizy is tizy!!!!!!!! Never did struts before.... Great sense of accomplishment and shltz load of money saved! Just thought id share buddies.

 

good...... i have to replace the control arms on my girl passat... im afraid of those "demon" bolts...

 

Just have about a gallon on PB blaster on hand.. Of all the bolts, there was really just that one that gave me problems which is surprising on a 10 yr old car.

 

Oh man, if the passat front assy is the same as the A4 you are not in for a fun time. What a bitch that is to do.

 

Haha and the passat IS identical to the A4... because the Meyle control arm kits fit B5 A4/Passat.

Sucka!!! But yeah... the bolt that goes through the knuckle which holds the upper control arms... I guess it's a pinch bolt... that's gonna make you hate your girls car. It's going to make you hate the world.
