I think its better that you go to a dealer near your place and consult him about which car you want to go for.He'll be able to tell you the right car.

 

S6 has a V10 and is pretty quick

 

If I had a choice I would go with a 2006-08 rs4. But then again I like the car because I like every thing about it such as the stance, wider body look, and the V8. If someone told me that I should or shouldn't like it wouldn't make a diffrence. You should look to see what you want then worry about performance. Like Turbo said: you can always throw boost into the mix.

thank you jeff. i have driven all of the above cars, i like the rs4, s5 and s6. s8 is amazing too but heavy. they are all amazing cars, i just want to know for race/show reasons which is better. but thank you jeff, i went to my friend at barrier audi again and he let me take the 2008 S6 on a few long back roads and i think that will be my choice. thank you again for those with useful info.

 

Dude go to audi site it give car stats. you having a brain is kind of pointless. You can buy ANY car and make it fast, judging by the fact you seem to know NOTHING about Audis or that fact you can give a price range your in. You're full of ****! Have a nice day!

 

my dad has an S6 and i have driven it very very hard. the car is faster than it feels, at altitude (denver) it pulls very hard, i cant imagine what sea level would feel like. the car also corners well because of quattro. the brakes are large and stop the car quite well from any speed. well ive only tested it from 130mph.

 

I'm kind of curious to see a picture of your A8 show car.
