Fiero owners help kid with terminal cancer & his car
While owning my A6, Im also an owner of an 88 Fiero GT which has a small cult like following via their own interweb site as well.
Tyler, a 18 year old owner has terminal cancer and is unable to finish restoring his GT to which a great deal of people from the Fiero community have stepped in to make his dream a reality being that he's now wheel chair bound and unable to do so.
A great deal of people have actually flown in from around the country to help put it together for him, and there was a pretty cool clip that the local news did it as well.

A body shop is providing the space and there have been donations from all over to assist with it - from Fiero vendors to owners that have never met Tyler at all.
All in all very cool - [cool]
Here's a pic of some of the guys w/ Tyler out in front of the shop between the white and blue Fieros ( kinda hard to see ):
Makes ya kinda feel good to know that even tho there is so much strife and selfishness today everywhere you turn, there are those who are willing to go above and beyond to help.

I always thought GM was onto something with teh Fiero. Shudda put a l'il more R&D into the up-front production, and spent more to refine/polish the (near-, but not quite full-turd) model line, which Toyota ended up making much better with their Mr. 2.
Good luck to Tyler, and everybody helping out with the project.
Keep us posted on the progress, please!
