So I know a lot of you are students and hate finals week. Last week I had one on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This week I have one Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Today is Geotechnical Engineering. Last week was my other geotech, two open channel water flows and Structural Analysis. Tomorrow is Groundwater flow and wednesday some dumb business class.

finals?? classes just started down here...what kind of schedule are you on?

 

He's probably on the quarter system, where you have a summer quarter if you choose to take it.

 

Yeah I am one of the last remaining quarter system schools in CA

I start again mid Sept.

Not much benefit to taking summer classes.

 

Yeah I took summer classes to slightly alleviate the pressure during the normal school year... 20 credits to an honours degree... so usually 4 years at 5 credits a pop. I plan on taking either 3.5 credits sept-april and 1.5 during the summer... or a 4/1 split. This year is a 4/1... we'll see how it goes. I just do NOT wanna take 5 full credits from sept - april... that's a bit much for a lazy man like myself. I figure my marks will be better for it, as well.

 

I have 5 3-hour law finals in December... which each constitute 100% of your course grade. Talk about SUCK!

 

Man, Geotech engineering was a little rougher than expected. Well I would go so far as to say my ankles are bruised from reaching over and grabbing them then clinching up in pain as I scream "thank you sir may I have another." Ha ha atleast it is done.
