So tonight I ran to Qdoba to pick up the worlds best dinner and I had to park in the furthest reaches of the parking lot because it was way full. As I was walkin toward the restaurant I saw a very... peculiar sight. At first I was shocked and hoped i had been mistaken but no... sure enough, I saw right. It was a hideous gold Ford Taurus with a big *** muffler and a carbon fiber hood... First off why buy the car, second why spend any money on the car, and finally why put a carbon fiber hood on it!?! that car is beyond help, a carbon fiber hood will NOT help your performance! AAAAHH! I almost cried when I saw that someone actually went "wow, I bet this carbon fiber hood would look awesome on my Ford Taurus!" ......

i go to TCU in Ft. worth. i lived on university and hampden by the old denver seminary, well i think its been torn down since i have been back. dang i havnt been home in 7 months.

 

We get that a lot around here, only people don't by the CF hood, they just paint their hoods flat black and say its CF. Yeah, I met a ricer once who said his black hood was CF, and so I knocked on it and said that it was kinda metallic sounding. He said that was to make it stronger, since the CF is too light and flexible...

 

LOL, damn ricers.

but anyway, the cofee can alone prolly cost more than the car iteself. thats what i dont understand about all these domestic fast tand the feurious types.

 

I would offer that it might have been a Taurus SHO... which is a cool car in many respects... but I'd hope a SHO owner wouldn't do that to his car.

EDIT: whoa, just looked at Adam's pic... the Taurus being run over by the Hummer is a SHO. Crazy. :P
