well last nite on my way home from my girls house im drivin at about 40 in a 30 my valentine goes nuts and a car is goin about 50 and flys by me. im like **** thats a cop, dont think anythin of it 2 minutes later my valentine starts beepin then im thinkin **** hes behind me. well sure enough he is. he follows me then sure enough pulls me over. i look at the clock and its 11:58 , im 17 and cant be driving past 12. he talks to me and is a real ******** tells me i cant be driving past 12 blah blah has my fukin CAR TOWED!!! ******!. thats 150$ down the drain. gave me a JOL violation and a 150$ speeding ticket which equaled to 185$. while im sittin in the back of the cop car im shitting my pants because i have a piece in the armrest. luckily he doesnt search the car, but decides to open the trunk without even asking for consent....(isnt that illegal??????)..anyway he takes me to the po po station and i end up gettin home around 2am. What a ********!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and as he opens the door for me he tells me to just appeal the ticket he wrote me and it will most likely get overturned because there is no fukin way he got me on radar after flyin by me at 50. I was also coming up over a hill so i barely got a glance at him. In short he had nothing better to do than give me a hard time.

Does anyone know how this will hold up in court? telling the magistrate he opened my trunk without asking consent?? and what about him being able to clock me while we were passing each other??

OHH i also forgot while in the cop car the piggie is bombin the whole way. i was lookin at his speedo he was going about 55-60 in a 20-30 mph zones. what a ***** move... his car handles wicked fukin nice around turns i must say i was very impressed.

anyway just letin out some steam...all that money that went down the drain was supposed to go to finishing my exhaust and window tint...MOTHER ***!@QIWRJWR

Yep. Most you can do is ask for the radar calibration records, if it wasnt calibrated, it didnt accurately measure your speed. Doesnt fix the curfew ticket, which you are pretty much screwed on. As far as opening the trunk, check your local laws, that might fly in some places. I doubt its illegal, he can check the rest of the car visually, just has to look in the back seat and double check the trunk for booze/bodies etc.

but it was pre-midnight still right...even if it was just two minutes you can still be on the road. Or just said you were coming from work...that is a reason to be out after 12 here in NJ when ur still 17 (idk where you were)

 

If radar detector's are not illegal in you're area, just tell the judge you own the best radar detector money can buy, and it never went off, that might work... Was he running laser?

 

as far as consent goes, you were already detained(ie sitting in the back of the cop car), so 'probable' cause will allow it...most states its a gray area anyway, hence not worth fighting over

just get one of those ticket lawyers to work with you if you can reset the case for a later date...what did your parents say?
