Hating Ricers

So people say that they "hate ricers". Can someone please give me an exact definition of what a "ricer" is? And what is it about "ricers" that people hate? And is it really "hate"??

Thanks.

everyone has their own definition for rice....i would say my definition would be, anything cheap (quality), flashy, or just ridiculously unnecessary "mods" (ie. vinyl decals, color-tint, altezza tails, chrome, neons, wings, 4" outlet mufflers, exhaust tips, windshield washer lights, gaudy body kits, etc, etc, etc, etc).....fyi, the reference to rice has nothing to do with japanese people, it just happens to be prevalent in japanese automobiles...

the ricer fly-by takes place after they already lose the race....it's pretty pathetic
word-for-word out of webster......

the unabridged webster adds the second part....

ORIGINAL: Webster's Unabridged Dictionary

the ricer fly-by takes place after they already lose the race....it's pretty pathetic......often times, the fly-by is concluded with a flashing of the hazard lights, horn honking, or other action, signifying that the ricer has won the race.
