already off to such a great start, huh?

I guess to be fair, we haven't really started the new year yet, so you've still got some time

and i never drink beer, hate that crap. i only get drunk off the good stuff :)

Your taste buds have some growing up to do, my friend. There's nothing like a cold beer to quench my thirst on a hot summer afternoon.

It will help you avoid your blackouts as well, as it doesn't hit as hard as your "good stuff" and won't sneak up on you either.

I haven't had a beer I liked either..

I was going to ask what you've had so far, but we already have a beer thread and this is going to turn into that all over again... plus I think I've derailed this thread enough already.

I haven't had a whole lot but I've had a few different beer's and a few mixed drinks.

well when you do start drinking, start with the easy drinkers (bud, coors, mgd, etc.). those will help you get your feet wet. from there, try out some whiskey, but sip it before shooting it so you can get a feel for it. after that, try moving into some more refined beers (pale ale, IPA, stout, blonde ale, maybe a double IPA) and see how you like them.

if you have any questions about any of them, dig up that beer thread. I'm sure I'm not the only one that's willing to plug that thread a little more.
