here is the thing. i have a panasonic 5.1 sound system in my room that is both a dvd player and a sound system. i would like to hook it up to my pc and still be able to use the 5.1 sound. right now i have it connected with a wire that has a white and red plug at one end, and a 3.5mm plug at the other. the problem is that it doesnt support 5.1 that way. my pc has an HD out plug, but the sound system only has an HDMI plug and the three colored ones (red, yellow, and white). i would guess that i need a wire that has an hd audio plug at one end and a red/white plug at the other end. does such a wire exist? help me
edit: could i use my hd audio cable and this http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=240-125 in order to get that 5.1 sound on my pc?
