Lost me on this one....

 

OK, well, you've got a FINE collection of Red X's my friend, but, only because I'm seen them all before, here's my $0.02
[ul][*]Camaro? Don't like. It's derivitive. If GM had thought of going Retro on ANY of it's lines... Iount know, BEFORE DC beat them to it, EVERYWHERE, I might be impressed. Too little, TOO LATE![*]Challenger? Me like, for ALL the same reasons I dislike the Camaro.[*]FiveHundred? Looks too plain. The concept car they dragged around teh country a half-a-decade ago was something I'd drive. The crap they're bringing to market I wudn't wipe my @$$ with (was that harsh?)[*]Mitsu Lancer? I like the looks, but I'm STILL pi55ed that Mitsu dint bring this car to it's MOST IMPORTANT MARKET 10 years sooner. Check back with me in 2010, I may have forgiven them, by then... Prolly not, tho.[*]Merc AMG? I actually liked AMG when they were a tuner. Can we all say SELL-OUT!!! Useta cud order ANYTHING Mercedes made, from AMG, and have it made ANYWAY you wanted... 600SL with 4Matic and a 6-speed? Sure!!! How much muny you got, Mein Herr? Now it's all "packages." They bore me. I've long since stopped saving up Green-Stamps (anybody on here remember THOSE?) and bottle-tops. Quattro GMBh is the NEW-HAWTness... Evidenced the R8![*]KTM XBow... I'm still undecided about it...[/ul]

 

I think all those cars are f'ing terrible. Almost as bad as the links that I had to click to get to them.

 

The only car I would even consider would be the Challenger and the only reason is that I used to own a 1970 Dodge Challenger 440 six pack 4-speed. Yes, I know I know, never should have sold it. Would be worth 5x's what I paid for it now. I was 22. Bought it when I got back from fishing in Alaska. I had a pocket full of $$ to burn and burn it I did...all on a car. Whooppeee.

 

Christ, I don't have time for this....They are the best cars ever, but suck in every way. They are beautiful without being good looking. IMHO

 

hm, i guess the designers all went to a seminar about luring the public into buying by making all the cars look like red x's

 

concepts always look good but never make it to the road so why not produce them?? like the older cars that every one loves why not reproduce them?? emissions could be taken into account with better engines as long as the car looks good. most new cars look the same[:@]
